Job Summary:
A Vascular Sonographer position is available in Concord, New Hampshire. Candidates must possess a valid New Hampshire license and be able to bring it on the first day of employment. The role involves performing vascular ultrasound examinations primarily on adult patients, with occasional outpatient and inpatient scans. Candidates with at least two years of dedicated vascular experience in an acute care vascular lab setting are encouraged to apply.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with Wednesdays off. Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire license; BLS certification; Registered Vascular Sonographer by Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Certification (CCI) or Registered Vascular Technician (Vascular Tech) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); minimum of 2+ years of dedicated vascular experience within an acute care vascular laboratory setting; unit-specific experience within the last 6 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: Experience in a dedicated vascular lab is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome if they meet the experience criteria. Local candidates (less than 50 miles) will be considered at a reduced rate. Candidates with recent similar-unit experience within the last 9 months and strong competencies will be given tentative approval. The role may require occasional float to facilities in Laconia and Franklin, New Hampshire. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume including 2+ years of dedicated vascular experience, licensing verification, and a skills checklist matching the specialty.
